I dont usually remember names and Im even worse at remembering faces. I tend to forget peoples appearance even if I initially thought they looked nice. Yesterday I was sitting on a train. I was going to visit my grandma in the countryside, when I noticed a young woman was observing me. I didnt actually look at her, Im much too shy for that, I just fixed my eyes on a newspaper article called iPad developer UK which I was pretending to read. I remember the woman was wearing an airy dress. It was pink and blue and had some flowers on it. I also remember she had long brown hair and some nice glasses. She must have been short and a bit plump, I suppose. She also had a nice voice, I heard her talking on the phone for a minute or two. But I cant remember her face. I guess that if I ever saw her again, I wouldnt be able to recognise her. I just kept my eyes on the iPad developer UK article, and then pretended I was interested in an interview with a famous software manufacturer. I didnt even notice when she got off the train. It all happened so quickly. When I realised she had disappeared, I immediately started to regret that I hadnt started a conversation. Things like that happen every day. I just keep missing chances to get to know interesting people.
